The winner of MOPCAP 2009 is Mahmoud Bakhshi Moakhar. The winner was announced by Sheena Wagstaff at the Royal College of Art on the 17th of October, following the Christie's auction of the Finalists' works.

12/10/2009 – THE MOP CAP WINNER WILL EXHIBIT AT THE SAATCHI GALLERY IN AUTUMN 2010
The MOP CAP Winner will be awarded a solo show at the Saatchi Gallery in Autumn 2010. The Saatchi Gallery aims to provide a forum for contemporary art from arond the world, presenting work by largely unseen young artists whose work has been rarely or never exhibited in the UK. This will be a fantastic opportunity for the MOP CAP Winner to be exposed to the international audience of the London art scene.
